【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC14776definesthecommandsetextensionstofacilitateoperationofSCSIstreamdevices.ThisstandardinconjunctionwithANSIINCITS351-2001fullyspecifiesthestandardcommandsetfortheSCSIstreamdeviceclass.Theobjectiveofthisstandard(SSC)istoprovidethefollowing:a)permitanapplicationclienttocommunicateoveraSCSIservicedeliverysubsystem,withalogicalunitthatdeclaresitselftobeasequentialaccessdeviceorprinterdeviceinthedevicetypefieldoftheINQUIRYcommandresponsedata;b)definecommandsuniquetoeachtypeofSCSIstreamdevice;c)definecommandstomanagetheoperationofSCSIstreamdevices;andd)definethedifferencesbetweenthetypesofSCSIstreamdevices.Figure1showsthegeneralstructureofSCSIstandards.Thefigureisnotintendedtoimplyarelationshipsuchasahierarchy,protocolstackorsystemarchitecture.
