【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesdesignparameters,materialsandmethodsofinstallingpipe,insizesnotexceedingR1?(32mm)forsteelandDN32forcorrugatedstainlesssteelorDN35forcopper,gaspipework,forthesupplyof2ndfamilygasfromthemetertoappliancesindomesticdwellings.ThestandardisalsoapplicabletopolyethylenepipeuptoDN32thatisexteriortoadwelling.Thisstandardappliestogasinstallationpipeworkwherethenominaloperatingpressureis21mbar1).COMMENTARYANDRECOMMENDATIONSONCLAUSE1AnnexAshowsatypicaldomesticgasinstallation(figuresfromtheGasSafety(InstallationandUse)Regulations1998[1]).SteelpipeworktoBS1387ofnominalsizeDN32isthatsizewhichisthreadedtoR1?(32mm)inaccordancewithBS21.Theprovisionofservicepipestotheconsumer’sgasmeteriscoveredbytheInstitutionofGasEngineersandManagerspublicationIGE/TD/4[6].TheinstallationofgasmetersiscoveredbyBS6400.3rdfamilygas(liquefiedpetroleumgas)installationsinpermanentdwellingsarecoveredinBS5482-1.GasinstallationpipeworkinlargersizesorathighergaspressuresisdetailedintheInstitutionofGasEngineersandManagerspublicationIGE/UP/2[7].Gas,asclassifiedinBSEN437:2003,Table1,isnormallysuppliedtothepublicinaccordancewithstatutoryrequirements.Theprovisionsofthisstandardapplytoinstallationssuppliedwith2ndfamilygasesincludingnaturalgasandmixturesofliquefiedpetroleumgases(LPG)andair.NOTE1Forthepurposesofthisstandard,installationincludesdesign,inspectionandcommissioning.Itisrecognizedthateachofthesetaskscanbeperformedbythesameperson.NOTE2Aswellasnormallyconstructeddwellings,domesticpremisesincludeanypermanentlysitedcaravans,holidayhomes,residentialparkhomesandpermanentlymooredboats.AdditionalrequirementsexistforthesecategoriesofpremisesandcanbefoundinIGE/UP/8[8].NeitherthisstandardnorIGE/UP/8[8]appliestogasinstallationsintowedormotorizedcaravans.NOTE3AdditionalinformationongasinstallationsintimberframedwellingsisgiveninIGE/UP/7[9].
