【摘要】:Itisnowwidelyorevenuniversallyacceptedthatcomputersystemsthatareusedwithinhealthcaretorecordinformationaboutthecaregiventopatient'sneedtosharethatinformationwithothercomputersystemsandtheirusers.Inorderthatcomputersystemsmayshareinformationeffectivelythereisarequirementthatthecommunicatingparties,andparticularlytheircomputersystemshaveacommonunderstandingofhowtheinformationwhichtheyaresharingisrepresented.Thissharingofrepresentationneedstotakeplaceatanumberoflevels,mostnotablyatthedatarepresentationorsyntacticlevelwhichisthesubjectofCEN/TS14796,butalsoatthemacroorsemanticlevelwheregroupingsofdataareusedtoprovideacontextorsetofcontextsforthedata.ThisPart4ofthestandardislimitedtodescriptionsofcomponentsconcernedwithmessaging,andinparticularthemessageandbatchheaders.
